It all started when…
Chris Salatino was born and raised in Utica along with his 5 siblings. He attended local public schools then graduated from Hudson Valley College with a degree in Banking, Insurance, and Real Estate in 1986. For the last 24 years he has practiced nationally as a Public Adjuster. While at Hudson Valley College, he met his future wife Kim. After college, they returned to the Mohawk Valley where they raised their three children. Chris has called Utica, NY his home since his childhood where he has lived and worked ever since.
For the last 11 years Chris has served as President of the Utica City School District’s Board of Education. Also, as an elected member of the Board, he is Chairman of the Utica School District’s Capital Project Committee that oversees the district’s 186 million dollar Capital Improvement project. He serves as co-chairman of the Utica School District’s Health and Safety Committee and Building and Grounds Committee.
As an active resident of Oneida County who has sought out one opportunity after another to serve his community, Christopher Salatino has brought character, commitment and results to his community.
He has extensive insurance claim and financial knowledge. He’s lectured, has authored articles, and appeared in public information forums on television and media. He has also provided expert witness testimony on numerous occasions.
Now, he’s running for the New York Assembly to improve local schools, grow our local economy, and improve the quality of life for our region.
